"Make sure your staff are trained, then the chance of acting during an incident will be many times bigger."
In the event of an emergency or a terrorist attack, the presence of terrorists or the absence of the police makes it still too dangerous or impossible for medical personnel to access the site of the emergency. But even during a ‘normal’ accident at work when the victim has, for example, arterial bleeding, every second counts. In this case adequate emergency assistance provided by your own employees is needed.
By following the ‘Medical Trauma Training’ you will extend your medical knowledge and skills. After the training you will be able to cope with arterial bleeding and/or amputation during an accident at work, emergency or terrorist attack, suffered by yourself or others.
During this one-day training session you learn:
- The medical – C- ABCDE- protocol, The use of the tourniquet (CAT) and the medical follow-up assistance that can be given to a victim to improve the chance of survival
- Which assistance you can provide in each phase
- The medical training includes theory and practical exercises and the location, operation, structure and content of the medical bag are explained.
Employees with extensive contact with the public who wish to extend and deepen their medical knowledge and skills.
To qualify for this medical training a medical background, like e.g. emergency first aid or company emergency response, is not required. The training has an easy structure making it suitable for anyone within your company.
This training is provided by two highly experienced instructors. They have a medical education and have gained extensive medical knowledge and skills both in the Netherlands and abroad during emergency situations.
